Il progetto internazionale Multimind – The Multilingual Mind ha appena pubblicato un Policy Report che si occupa della valutazione e del trattamento dei bambini multilingue con Disturbi Primari del Linguaggio e Dislessia Evolutiva. Cosa si dovrebbe considerare quando si diagnosticano DPL e DE nei bambini multilingue?
Di seguito una breve panoramica di alcune importanti considerazioni:
- Uso di compiti (relativamente) indipendenti dalla lingua come compiti di ripetizione non di parole, valutazione dinamica e compiti non linguistici (velocità di elaborazione, discriminazione uditiva, attenzione, memoria di lavoro e funzioni esecutive).
- Considerazione del background linguistico dei bambini.
- Utilizzo di strumenti di screening informatizzati e multilingue.
